She Is The Music

About Pamela Oscos

Hey! I’m Pamela, a singer, vocal coach, vocal producer, composer, manager and pianist based in Mexico City. I have my own project: Sever The Light, an alternative metal band, in which I am the singer, composer, pianist and manager while I produce and coach other artists. I am so passionate about the music industry, I love to meet and work with new people, specially powerful women, manage new projects and learn new things every day. 🖤 For me, music is everything and I won’t ever stop following this dream.

Since my band is my main project, I have been able to apply my skills 360, from the studio and live concerts, to management and PR. I’ve also been coaching other singers for almost 8 years, as I am a certified vocal coach. As a vocal producer, I’ve worked for other bands and artists from México, Latin America and the US.

She Is The Music PresentsWomen Sharing the Spotlight

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
