Paria's Experience

I am actively involved in multiple music-related activities outside of school. I work with Tongue Tied Magazine, where I photograph concerts and share my photos and experiences. I’ve been involved with the magazine since May of 2022 and contribute by capturing the energy and excitement of live performances through my photography. I also engage with fans, sharing insights and stories that resonate with the music community. This role allows me to blend my passion for music with my skills in photography and social media, creating content that brings fans closer to their favorite artists and bands. In addition to that role, I have recently been lucky to receive the position of Local Spotlight Editor for Tongue Tied. This position overlooks the local spotlight section of the website, which holds favorite bands, local pop-ups, event recommendations, local businesses, and more. I have taken on additional responsibilities and extra roles, further enhancing my ability to manage and contribute to various aspects of the publication. The position has provided a platform to showcase many talented individuals and allowed me to illustrate my creative freedom! Being part of Tongue Tied Magazine has allowed me to deepen my understanding of the music industry, from the intricacies of live event production to the importance of fan engagement. I am excited to continue learning and contributing to the vibrant world of music by bringing my skills and creativity to drive forward and cultivate new ideas with one another. I believe that I can bring forth more ideas and help cultivate new compositions.
