Halynn's Experience

Six-time producer of “Seattle’s most important annual jazz event,”(JazzTimes) Earshot Jazz Festival, a month-long festival that hosts nearly 75 events on a dozen urban stages. I thrive with my sleeves rolled up in a production challenge to better any experience for creators and their audiences around the globe… Artists say: “She’s the one you want on your gig!” –Keyon Harrold… I specialize in placing people of music with funding opportunities, alongside visual collaborations, and a network of DJs in top Pacific Northwest venues (Town Hall, Benaroya Hall, KEXP, and LANGSTON). I can handle all aspects of a production’s needs, including day-to-day schedules; managing off-site rentals; staffing AV techs, junior staff, volunteers, and developing sponsorships; social media and community engagement strategies; and honing community-driven hospitality partnerships for BOH catering, lodging and transport; and negotiating contracts…. I have the honor to be considered a trusted communicator of creators’ stories. I have a decade of experience interviewing artists and crafting profiles and show previews. I am expanding my storytelling from writing to post-production video editing. I am very familiarized with the ins and outs of creating successful Livestream events. Inquire about consultation! During the peak of the first wave of COVID-19, I coordinated an artist relief initiative to distribute $53k direct to Seattle artists experiencing high-risk financial insecurity during COVID-19.
