About Amelia Sarkisian

Hi! I am a producer and engineer, both in studio and live, as well as touring musician, playing both guitar and bass, and lead vocals. I specialize in indie, punk, shoegaze, and the like, and have a strong passion for the undercurrent of the music scene. I also manage two San Diego recording studios, and tend to be the only femme in the room. I am always aching for a stronger connection to other non-men in the music industry and am always open to work.

Amelia's Experience

As a studio engineer, I have credits with the likes of Jason Mraz, the San Diego Music Awards, Cathedral Bells, as well as many well respected acts in the regional area including Sparkler, Echinacea, Bethany Home, and many more. Mixing is my truest passion, and I work best in the room I helped build, Satellite in San Diego. I enjoy the full process of unearthing the feelings of a song, and giving an artist a mix they can be proud of. As a live engineer, I have run sound at venues such as Music Box, Space Bar, and festivals like the Millpond Festival (Bishop, CA) and Escorted Trips (5 years). As a musician, I have gone on the road as a bass player in Sparkler, SD based shoegaze, and play in the region as a lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for my band, Loitering. I enjoy building up the smaller bands, and am driven to go the distance.
