About Rachel Rejuso

I have always been in the world of music. From being a classical pianist and violinist at a young age, to writing and producing my own music, to performing at gigs, music has been a constant part of my life. I’ve spent time in recording studios, worked in operational roles, and explored different sides of the industry, all of which have led me to where I am today: with a newfound interest and growing curiosity in the business side of music. Throughout my education and work experience, I’ve become increasingly interested in music industry rights and the ways artists and their work are protected. I’ve realized that I want to be part of the work that helps give artists the support and protection they deserve. I’m looking for opportunities where I can continue building my knowledge and gaining hands-on experience in music business, copyright, and rights, while contributing to an industry that I’ve been passionate about for most of my life.

Rachel's Experience

I’ve applied these skills through my experiences as both a music creator and a music operations professional. My background in music production and songwriting has helped me understand the creative process and the work that goes into bringing a song to life. I’ve also gained hands-on experience in recording studios, assisting with sessions, organizing assets, and supporting the day-to-day studio environment. On the operations side, I’ve worked with digital music catalogs by researching artist and content information, reviewing metadata, organizing music assets, and helping maintain accurate records across platforms. These experiences have allowed me to see the connection between the creative and administrative sides of the industry, and how strong organization and attention to detail can help better support artists and their music.
