Renee's Experience

I began my career in music as a Personal Assistant in the executive office at Sony Music Australia, before transitioning to the live side of the industry upon moving to London. Working with high-profile booking agents and internationally renowned concert promoters, I gained invaluable insight into the touring world. This experience led me to an opportunity to tour as Production Assistant with Leonard Cohen, later progressing to Road Manager for his eight piece band. I built on this experience, and successfully tour managed my first band across North America twice, which then expanded into a day to day manager role with them. This experience enabled me to take on a permanent position with a UK heritage rock band as their Production Assistant, come Assistant Tour Manager which lasted five years where they played their final show in Japan. I continued working closely with the band’s founding member, supporting his solo career as both Tour Manager and Personal Assistant, applying my extensive industry knowledge, which includes an approachable and supportive demeanour, coupled with a can do attitude with the constantly moving goal posts, to ensure seamless operations. Always practicing confidentiality and discretion. This foundation of experience has provided the opportunity to also successfully tour as a personal assistant to the artist. With my solid background both on and off the road, I was approached by AEG Presents UK to take on a fixed-term contract position, leveraging my skills and longstanding understanding of the company from its early days in the UK.
