I am fortunate enough to have been involved in the music business for over 40 years and I have been professional since 1986 . My main instruments are Pedal Steel , Bottleneck Slide Guitar , Acoustic Guitar , Dobro and I also play Banjo and Mandolin as well as doing lead and BV vocals . I fronted my own band for nearly 30 years and have toured in many production shows during that time as well as playing major festivals and venues worldwide . I have toured consistently throughout Europe , USA , Japan , Australia and throughout the UK and Ireland . Over my career to date , I have played sessions on over 600 recordings , and have played and recorded with such music legends as Sir Van Morrison who I played live for 6 years and recorded 3 albums including Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl , plus Cyndi Lauper , Glen Campbell , Kenny Rogers , Eric Clapton , Phil Collins , Imelda May , Duane Eddy , Albert Lee , Charlie Pride , Lisa Mchugh , Darryl Worley , Ray Scott , The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and The Halle Orchestra to name a few . I have full endorsement deals with Mullen Steel Guitars , Jackson Slideking , D’addario Strings , Peterson Strobe Tuners , Telonics Amps and Amplex Amps . I love all aspects of my work whether it’s playing live , recording work or TV , and I feel extremely blessed to be able to make Music my life’s work .
