Sarah's Experience

In my role at Ten Fifty Entertainment, I’ve developed strong organizational and problem-solving skills while being in a fast-paced festival environment. I coordinate transportation logistics for both crew and attendees, ensuring smooth and timely shuttle operations between stages and departments. When unexpected issues arise, such as changes to travel routes or delays in schedules, I work collaboratively with my team to quickly adjust and keep operations running seamlessly. This experience has honed my ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, think proactively to avoid issues, and communicate effectively under pressure to ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved. As the Artist Relations and Hospitality Coordinator at Lovin’ Life Music Festival, I applied my attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills to manage the logistics for over 40 artists. This involved overseeing arrival schedules, dressing room setups, and fulfilling hospitality requests—all while ensuring that the artists’ needs were met seamlessly. When unexpected changes occurred, I remained solutions-focused, quickly resolving issues to minimize disruption. This experience reinforced my ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain a professional, positive attitude in dynamic environments. During my Tour Management Mentorship with Turn Up Her Mic, I gained invaluable insights into booking logistics and advancing shows on tour. I learned the foundational aspects of tour management, including coordinating show schedules, managing venue details, and ensuring everything is in place for smooth event execution. One of the key takeaways was the importance of advancing shows—making sure all the details, from technical requirements to travel arrangements, are confirmed well in advance. This experience has equipped me with the skills needed to manage the complex logistics of a tour, and I’m eager to build upon these skills in future roles.
