Clarissa's Experience

As a Production Assistant, I applied organization, communication, and problem-solving skills daily in fast-paced environments where timing and coordination were critical. I supported production logistics, assisted with scheduling, coordinated across departments, and helped ensure talent and crew had what they needed to stay on track. Working on set taught me how to anticipate needs, adapt quickly when plans shifted, and maintain professionalism under pressure — all while contributing to a collaborative team effort. Similarly, running She Is The Culture has allowed me to apply these skills in a more entrepreneurial way. I manage content calendars, coordinate with artists and creatives, oversee social media strategy, and track engagement to understand what resonates with audiences. Building the platform required strong storytelling, relationship-building, and strategic thinking to grow a community around music and culture. Together, these experiences have strengthened my ability to manage projects from concept to execution, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and create experiences that connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
