About Roeshunna Sallee

I was a baby model I won a baby contest and my baby picture was issued on Pampers. I next won the book writing contest in my elementary school. After that I discovered I wanted to rap at seven years old. My family believed in me and they handed me a Mic. Recently I have continued to be a positive role model in my community by staying healthy and fit by joining Golds Gym. The number one way I free myself from all of my hardships is by writing music. I can create a song for any genre however for myself, I write and record my raps to heal myself. I love creating and I know creating gives me joy! I actually love writing my stories to instrumentals and sharing them. I am so appreciative for the people who tell me they like my rap style and it motivates me to keep creating. I am also thankful for She Is The Music! I always have wanted to be connected with those who also share the same interest as me. Today She Is The Music really made my day thank you again! Sincerely, Roeshunna Sallee

Roeshunna's Experience

I have been sharing lyrics I have created by singing them alongside free instrumentals. I post a new song on my Facebook every week. I do this because all of the songs I write are from my personal experiences. I want to help other people with similar experiences know, hardships can very well be what make a person stronger emotionally. We learn from our experiences. Past experiences make a person more aware. Writing lyrics to r&b music it helps me express my feelings in a positive way, thus healing myself as well as others. That is the goal.
