About Claudia Fisecker-Heidegger

Claudia Fisecker-Heidegger is a Vienna-based music producer, sound engineer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work bridges performance, production, and cultural entrepreneurship. With a background that spans classical training, contemporary songwriting, and hands-on studio work, she has built a career dedicated to both her own artistic projects and to supporting the visions of others. Rooted in folk, indie, and singer-songwriter traditions, her productions start from the intimacy of a song written on guitar or piano and grow organically into fully realized arrangements. Her approach is collaborative and intuitive: letting the song guide the process while creating space for artists to explore and refine their own voice. After studying Commercial Music in London and instrumental pedagogy at the Mozarteum in Innsbruck, Claudia immersed herself in the international music scene. First as a touring violinist and vocalist, later expanding into live sound engineering and music production. Recent credits include Dylan Goff: Lullaby of Lost Causes, Jess Blijkers: Nothing Social, Lily and the Wildflowers: Gathering of Words, several singles under her solo project CloudyaH, and Sia Vaiz’s debut album. At SoundSOURCEress, alongside producing, Claudia often contributes instrumentally adding violin, bass, guitar, piano, or percussion to build arrangements that remain true to the artist’s acoustic core while opening up new sonic dimensions. Her solo project CloudyaH showcases her own songwriting and distinctive sound, while collaborations with bands such as Shane Ó Fearghail & The Host highlight her versatility as a performer. Beyond the stage and studio, Claudia is the founder and deputy chair of b.sides Vienna, a cultural association that organizes singer-songwriter events, fosters artistic exchange, and secures funding for independent projects. Her commitment to creating opportunities for musicians is matched by her skill in bringing songs to life, whether through arrangements, recording, mixing, or bespoke instrumental sessions. For Claudia, production is about more than capturing sound; it’s about shaping an environment where creativity can flow, where acoustic authenticity meets modern possibilities, and where songs can grow into their fullest expression. At the heart of her work is a strong belief in collaboration, authenticity, and the power of music to connect people across genres and cultures.

Claudia's Experience

From my earliest days as a classically trained violinist to my current work as a freelance producer and sound engineer in Vienna, music has always been at the center of my path. Over the years I’ve worn many hats: performer, songwriter, live sound engineer, project manager, and cultural organizer; but what ties it all together is a passion for creating spaces where music can thrive. As a producer, I draw on my background in both performance and technical training to shape songs from the first spark of an idea to the final mix. My work ranges from bespoke violin and backing vocal sessions to full-scale productions, arrangements, and studio sound engineering. Founding the cultural association b.sides Vienna has allowed me to support other artists by organizing events, securing funding, and building platforms for independent music. I have performed internationally with my solo project CloudyaH as well as in ensembles like Lions & Thieves and Shane Ó Fearghail & The Host, bringing together voice, violin, and a multi-instrumentalist’s curiosity. These experiences have given me a wide perspective on the industry, from stage to studio, from grassroots to professional productions. For me, music production is not only about the sound, but about fostering relationships, creating an environment of trust, celebrating creativity and collaboration. I love helping artists shape their unique vision and making sure their voices are heard – both literally and figuratively. If you’re interested in working together, I’d love to hear from you! 🙂
