She's currently working with The Songwriting Academy, undert the mentorship from Shelly Poole, Rob Wells, Jeff Franzel, Sie Medway-Smith, etc. Her music incorporates varied styles, including dream pop, synth-pop, art pop, ethereal, electronic, experimental pop, industrial, Broadway, kids' music, etc. "I'm just here to enjoy music: creating it, performing it, sharing it, that's the ultimate goal."

Michelle's Experience

I’m part of the Songwriting Academy run by Martin Sutton, and I’ve been working with people there to write and produce music and learn about DAWs, marketing, social media, songwriting techniques, etc. As for graphic design, I do my own website, channel art, discord and twitch designs. And I’m starting to do my own album art too. I’ve been singing and performing since always, be it in national/local/chamber choirs and especially solo. It’s in my blood.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
