Taylor's Experience

I’m using my major (Music Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology) to pursue a career in music by combining my knowledge of the performance world with the business aspect. As a freelance musician (pianist and clarinetist), I provide marketing for my brand as well as handle finances, negotiate fees, and communicate for booking. I am currently one of the direct point people for UArts Radio, supporting as an event director, social media coordinator, journalist, and radio show host for my own show, “Taylor’d Tunes”. WHYY news source, affiliated with PBS and NPR, just featured my article from UArts Radio, so I’m becoming acquainted with the music journalist world. When in-person at UArts, I am an assistant to the live sound engineer for in-house events at my university, assisting in the assembly and disassembly of band equipment on stage and live mixing concerts. My true interest lies with music supervision for film and video games as well as sync licensing.
