About Erika Enyolu
In the start of 2014, Erika “PR Diva” Enyolu founded PR Diva Communications a celebrity boutique PR Agency headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Her agency has since focussed on building strategic, quality public relations and marketing campaigns for 1000s of high profile clients. From A-list celebrities, musicians, actors, actresses, athletes, fashion designers, corporate brands and NGO’s, she’s had the pleasure of working with the world’s biggest names in music & entertainment. Prior to her agency, she was a Marketing Manager at a world-renowned Engineering corporation and highly sought out entertainment freelancer working at awards shows such as: NAACP Image Awards, Canada’s Walk of Fame, MuchMusic Awards & Juno Awards.
Erika’s agency has been hired to execute publicity for some of the biggest African Music/Afrobeats festivals and concerts in North America and she’s directly managed publicity campaigns for a number of Afrobeats superstars and their teams in the industry including superstars like: Wizkid, Burnaboy, Afro B, & Stonebwoy.
In 2021 during the pandemic, Erika founded Club Afrobeats the 1st Live audio-only Afrobeats themed Nightclub on the app Clubhouse! The community has over 5000+ members to date and she created this platform with a mission to showcase emerging and established artists, creatives, movers & shakers, industry veterans & overall music lovers in the Afrobeats scene. A number of record labels, public figures and musicians have appeared on audio shows on the app through the club to assist with keeping the Afrobeats scene alive during the lockdowns and event closures during the the peak of the pandemic.
As a dual citizen with key entertainment industry relationships, her global network and ambitious nature she recently took the daring leap of faith and relocated to Nigeria to further expand and scale her PR agency by launching her 2nd physical location in the heart of Lagos featuring a PR agency with a new Live Entertainment Events addition. Few Nigerian women are represented in the Afrobeats space in North America and her mission is to change that narrative and empower fellow women to use their platforms for impactful change. Her drive doesn’t go unnoticed and her commitment to give a voice to Afrobeats artists by way of public relations and by having them represented means so much to her. This is why she’s ready to leave her footprint in Africa and use her expertise to not only help local artists connect with their fans overseas, but be the plug for North American artists to land placements and opportunities here in Africa in an effort to connect with their roots & grow their native fan base.
Erika also strongly believes in mentorship and giving back to her community. Not only has she been a part of charitable programs here in Nigeria and still has big plans to launch more, she also supports a variety of North American based organizations like Afro Centre For The Arts, a non-profit artist led organization in Toronto, Canada whose aim is to provide exhibitions, programs, and special projects that offer opportunities, leadership and mentorship in the creative arts community for youth & adults. The organization also helps to produce the biggest mainstream fashion platform for creatives in North America called African Fashion Week Toronto, where she is the Head of PR & Media Relations.
The programs and events are inclusive and designed to empower black creatives in the community and are focused on Music & Dance, Fashion & Design, Film & Theatre, Visual & Performing Arts.
Erika was the recipient of The Top 100 Black Women to Watch in Canada in 2016, PR in Canada’s 2015 Top 30 under 30 and recent 2 time nominee for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards.
