About Trinity Cyrus

I have always had a passion for finding hidden talent, seeing new artists shine, and helping musicians reach their goals. As a recent college graduate with a communications degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, I have been able to learn how to effectively communicate and interact with a variety of different audiences. I hope to be an asset in the music industry by creating innovative ways to better market, advertise, and simplify the curation and creative processes for corporations and musicians. I would love the opportunity to expand my knowledge by helping place artists on platforms where they can reach large audiences and share their music, utilizing my social media expertise to find undiscovered talent.

Trinity' Experience

In December 2020, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of Maryland, College Park, and through various internships and campus leadership experiences, I have developed a solid foundation in marketing and public relations. I have always had a passion for finding hidden talent, seeing new artists shine, and helping musicians reach their goals. I would love the opportunity to promote organizations or musical artists on platforms where they can reach large audiences. During my time in college, I learned how to effectively communicate and interact with a variety of different publics. I believe these experiences will translate well into A&R, marketing, and public relations positions. In 2019, I studied abroad in Italy and assumed a key internship at Impact Hub Reggio Emilia. This opportunity allowed me to translate marketing collateral from Italian to English. I also advertised Impact Hub’s community services on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. My work at a global organization showed me how to localize corporate branding and messaging, a skill I would love to apply in the music industry. On-campus, I served as the Social Media Chair for Christ in Culture, an organization that provides a community space for students. I tailored Instagram posts to address current events and promote the organization’s weekly discussion themes such as a conversation surrounding community violence after rapper Nipsey Hussle’s death. This event allowed me to combine my social media skills with my passion for music and pop culture. In my free time, I like to follow up and coming artists. Right now, I have been tuned in to O-Slice, a rapper from PG County, MD. Known for her lyrical freestyles, she was recently featured on RapCaviar’s Twitter page. She currently has 1,035 monthly Spotify listeners. I aspire to combine my skills and passions by creating innovative ways to better market, advertise, and simplify the curation and creative processes for corporations and musicians.
