About Zamokuhle Masina

Hi everyone, I’m Zamokuhle. I’m a writer, vocalist, and Operational & Relationship Executive at the National Mentorship Movement RSA who believes deeply in the power of words to shift hearts and systems. I’ve been writing music since I was 11—lyrics and melodies have always been my way of making sense of the world. I can jump on any beat and adapt to any genre because I create from a place of feeling, truth, and connection. Music was my first language, long before my professional career took shape. While I recorded a few tracks during my high school and varsity years, I chose to invest deeply in building a corporate career. As a project manager and strategic leader in the mentorship and development space, I’ve spent over a decade creating environments that empower individuals, especially women and youth, to grow personally and professionally. My work has spanned mentorship platform management, content development, stakeholder engagement, entrepreneurship and youth development, marketing, and building authentic partnerships that open real opportunities. These experiences have shaped how I write and what I write about—purpose, resilience, identity, and rising beyond the limits the world sets for us. Now, I’m returning to music with clarity and creative energy. I’m looking to collaborate with artists, producers, and creatives who understand the power of storytelling and are committed to building music that lives and breathes with intention. If that’s you, let’s connect and create.

Zamokuhle's Experience

I’ve applied my skills in writing, emotional intelligence, and storytelling across both my professional and creative work. As a Project Manager in the mentorship and development space, I’ve led national programmes that connect people across generations and industries, requiring clear communication, strong facilitation, and the ability to build meaningful relationships. Whether managing large teams, creating content that resonates, or building partnerships with corporations, I’ve used my writing and strategy skills to move people and ideas forward. At the same time, my music has always been my foundation. I started writing songs at 11, and over the years, I’ve continued to use songwriting as a way to process, reflect, and inspire. The same creative instincts I use to write lyrics—understanding rhythm, emotion, and message—have shaped how I craft campaigns, lead teams, and build communities. Every project I’ve led professionally has required listening deeply, adapting to the moment, and expressing something real, just like music. Now, I’m ready to bridge both worlds. I bring not just the ability to write and perform, but the leadership, discipline, and collaborative mindset I’ve developed through years of strategic work. I want to create with people who bring the same energy and care to their craft, because music, like mentorship, is most powerful when it’s done with intention.
