About Alexandra Markus

My name is Alexandra Markus and I am a student at UCLA studying Psychology B.A. and pursuing the Music Industry Minor. I have a great passion for singing, songwriting, and producing. I would love to create music that inspires others to go after what they believe in and would also love to learn from industry experienced songwriters and producers. While I am making music on my own and looking forward to collaborating with creative minds, I am deeply passionate about giving other artists platforms of their own. I would love to assist artists in furthering their careers as musicians by allowing them to have a voice in the industry and helping them create a brand that reflects their contribution to the creative aspect of the music industry.

Alexandra' Experience

I’ve been writing music privately to enhance my songwriting skills for a couple of years now. I took it upon myself to take a songwriting course at UCLA to further my knowledge of songwriting and develop my skills through collaboration with others. Furthermore, I have taken music production courses and a music technology course to refine my production skills to allow myself to build on my foundation for songwriting. I am confident that I have gained the skills I needed to acquire to begin releasing and collaborating with other artists. Currently, I am pursuing the Music Industry Minor which allows me to engage in the business side of the music industry. Even though I don’t have any concrete experience in working in the business aspect of the music industry through artist management, I have met with people via Zoom in the music industry to broaden my knowledge of artist management. I am able to work in fast paced environments, have high communication skills, enjoy researching to support projects, and have great organizational skills.
